Did you know that the Dickens Hero is my classmate…?
It was my first day at school.I was a very shy girl. The school I attended was Hampton school. The school had all modern conveniences and comfortable accomodations. The atmosphere there was very friendly.I introduced myself as Ann Monroe. The director of this school treated me kindly. She was a delicate woman. She accomponied me to the classroom. I was very anxious to see my new classmates. They were all very cute children. But one of them attracted my attention immediately.I walked toward him and sat next to him.He stood out from the crowd by his appearance.I sighed with relief as the most difficult part was done. I started listening to the teacher. At that time the teacher called him to the blackboard to answer the lesson.I noticed that he was a potential and sensible pupil.During the break all the children rushed out.Only he remained in the classroom.I exchanged a few words with him.In this way I wanted to assure him that I liked him and wanted to be in good relations with him.And I succeded in convincing him of that. He shared my desire of becoming friends. His name was Charles Dickens. And we started to introduce ourselves to each other. When the lesson was over he suggested that I should tell him about myself in details. There was a canteen in our school. This canteen was very neat and clean. All the children were satisfied with the cook’s service and tasted her delicious dishes with great pleasure. At first sight you could see that everything was in order there but once I witnessed a shoking incident which bothered all the present children. It happened so.A pretty girl was taking her lunch on a tray when a naughty guy pushed her.She fell to the ground, burst into tears while the guy broke into hysterical laughter.Charles Dickens who was entering the canteen, felt pity and sympathy towards the girl and made up his mind to interfere. He rushed to the girl, took out a handkerchief out of his pocket, wiped her tears and helped her rise to her feet. Then he looked directly into the guy’s eyes. The latter avoided his glance and wanted to run away when Dickens took him by the shoulder and hit him on the face.Dickens forced him to apologize for his misconduct. The guy obeyed silently and ran away. Soon it was Charles’s birthday.I was thinking what to present him and came to a conclusion to give him a beautiful parrot which could sing.Charles had decided to organize an unforgetable party in the open air. When we came to the destination we started preparations for the party. The scenery was magnificent there. All the invited guests were pleased. We spent the party dancing, singing, enjoying the birthday cake which had the shape of an open book.It was after midnight when the guests went away cheerful.Charles and I decided to meet the sunset. We climbed on a hill and sat ourselves among flowers and admired the beauty of the night.Gazing at the sky he decided to open his heart to me.He wanted to tell me about his beloved. He had fallen in love with her at first sight and now loved her to distraction.I advised him to gatter his courage and confess his feelings. He said that he couldn't do it because the girl was very close to his heart. And if he told her about it he could lose her. He said that the girl would always be his true love.He asked me if I remembered the case in the canteen? At that time the girl had been there. At that time Charles Dickens took out a red roze from his pocket and gave it to me(Ann Monroe) saying He said that he had followed my advice and confessed his feelings.I was surprised hearing his words. My feelings were also positive towards him.Once he took me to a gorgeous garden. In the middle of the garden there was a glorious fountain. This place was Charles Dickens’s most favourite corner where he could write his poems. And here he soon wrote one of his best works , named which made him famous throughout the world. Later he wrote more stories and many interesting adventure books which were admired by future generations,no matter old or young.
